Moving from GS to Expedia

Just got an offer from Expedia for a SDE II role. I am looking for career growth and learning opportunities. Is it worth moving from GS to Expedia in this current market? What benefit does Expedia offer, especially in the London office? TC: £70k + 🥜 bonus New TC: £80k + £8k travel + $20k stocks (4 years) #expedia

You'll have fun at EG, good culture, good perks, colleagues that are fun and generally open minded because they travel so much. Never short on a hotel recommendation I liked it there. Having gone elsewhere after pandemic redundancy there I realised how much they had their s**t together. Would go back

Thanks! Do you remember what sort of benefits they offer?

12-20% bonus depending on level., healthcare. Reimbursement against travel purchases. Performance awards for travel purchases. Discounts. Needless to say I holidayed well there. Caveat: I've been away for 2 years so things have changed. Very travel focused with average money but really great colleagues. If part of the reason you're looking to get out of GS is because. Of the culture EG is a sound move
