How big are the balls of Google to lay off thousands and then do 70 BILLION in stock buyback?
How difficult is it for a Junior Software Developer who studied in the UK (and worked in London for a couple of years) to find a job in New York or San Francisco?
Depends. Work visa will be the main issue if you are not a US citizen.
You should be able to find a tech job pretty easily in both SF and NY (provided you have a relevant degree/ work experience and authorized to work in the US). But I’d recommend to go to New York first. You’ll be super bored in San Francisco after London!
+1 on this, moved from London to Vancouver and now Seattle... So bored, that's why I found this post while searching for "New York" on blind 😅
Depends on if you’re US citizen. If not you’re dead on arrival
Sf has an automatic enrollment plan if you are willing to take < 90k base no rsus
What kind of company do you work for?
