This is my experience as owner of a model x plaid for about a year and half. Had 2 accidents and not because of my fault neither the fault of other car. Accident #1 - on the highway (autopilot) ghost breaking lead to rear ending the other car Accident #2 - on highway (autopilot) hard breaking over slowing vehicle in the front and again rear ending the car behind Other instances: Instance #3 - Horn is literally non existent in model X, it’s a small icon on the right side controls in the steering wheel making it impossible to use it when needed 🫣 Instance #4 - Yoke is dangerous as i have sometimes slipped over a turn and luckily didn’t result in an accident 😡 Instance #5 - No tactile feedback on any controls, the forward and reverse controls on the screen are easy to slip if you don’t go all the way up or down and in a hurry you might find yourself going in wrong direction 🤨 Instance #6 - Auto selection of forward and reverse is buggy and sometimes it would default to forward movement even if you are close to wall 🥸 Who needs tactile feedback anyway? It's all about the element of surprise, right?
Tesla has a pHD because of rich fools like you buying this junk for 100k+
I agree and I regret
#3 #4 #5 are already fixed, you can change your yoke to normal steering wheel that might help.
Tesla is a junk brand. I was happier with my SoulEV Kia than I was with my M X. Defective MCU right out the factory. Windows stopped working when it rained. Doors would randomly open when I was away. F00k Tesla
So you got into 2 accidents because of autopilot yet don’t think it was your fault? Jfc people these days….
Why is your insurance rate now?
Judging by your post you don’t seem to have a lot of experience and mileage in driving.
Given the number of events, maybe not use autopilot?
