Iโm worried about appraisal not coming close to the selling price based on comps by my agent (50-70K at the min) and want to go try with multiple (at least 2) lenders and see if one works out as close to the selling price as possible before committing. This is so I end up paying less out of pocket. What do you guys think about it? I tried lower price but seller rejected and needs more $$ ๐ฅฒ #mortgage #lender TC: 280K
How much was list and how much did you offer?
1.25 list and 1.4 offer and seller needs more but comps near by are less than 1.4 already - close to 1.37 so worried about appraisal if I go 1.45 or 1.47 ๐
You put in offer for $1.4 or $1.45?
You can try if you want to pay for each appraisal. I just did one, cost me $800
Okay to pay additional 1000$ for peace of mind and possibly not paying 100k out of pocket ๐
