From news: The company estimated that the staffing reductions would be complete by the end of March 2023, Roku stated in a regulatory filing on Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Funny how they all started the layoffs after midterms! Tech really needs a big overhaul and should be penalized for funding political parties. They care nothing about the employees they cut loose after the midterms and definitely no respect for employees. They also try an silence people they all suck. By the way who actually is qualified to be a fact checker? All they do is google lol
Love how every republican try to bring in politics wherever they can. Before you call me names (which you folks always do), I’d say Democrats surely suck but your point is moot.
Apple TV, Firestick, Chromecast. One in the list isn't like the others. Will let you figure out which one kek
This is what happens when you pay high salaries all cash.
Yes, unlike meta
I don’t think the SEC filling mentioned anything about multiple rounds of layoffs: https://d18rn0p25nwr6d.cloudfront.net/CIK-0001428439/63d7f021-75c3-4a56-af2a-cd558a4bb03f.pdf
Yes.. it only Says that implementation of headcount reduction including cash payments will be complete by end of q1 2023. Makes sense when you take into account the cobra benefit payments
also because of eu regulations. us layoffs are done
So no more rounds you mean?
Nobody can guarantee that there will be no more layoffs .. however as far as this post is concerned, talking about multiple rounds, that is incorrect news. Layoffs in US are done
With competition from Apple TV, Amazon Firestick and Chromecast, I think Roku is unfortunately going to go down a downward spiral eventually towards getting bought out or bankruptcy.
Apple TV? Competition? Huh?
Ruku, I think you should focus on saving your own ass. Don't worry about others.
