He was promoted to manager one year ago, and he has recently hired three people, all of whom are Indian. If I complain to HR department, what is going to happen?
Try it without fear of retaliation HR won't be against you if your claim's right
Wait until the VP is Indian… the whole org will become Indians
Holy fuck. Going through this right now. Don't get me wrong, I have no qualms with any of my Indian coworkers. What I very much dislike is the culture that I have seen from Indian leaders. It's like, they think because of their title you should worship the ground they walk upon, and it's basically a requirement to cancel any meeting 5 times before you get to talk with them. Could also just be the leadership within my org, but yes, everyone is now Indian when it was fairly diverse 5+ years ago.
Or CEO
Same Typical Indian manager
There is no diversity and inclusion if he hires only Indian males. You need evidence, for example proving that he rejected females or non-indian valid candidates. If you can prove it, he can get fired. Inclusion and diversity is quite important at Amazon
Sounds like you can lay a trap by sourcing females and non Indians who barely miss the bar. And then also source Indians who barely clear the bar. After 5 rejects and 3 accepts you will have entrapped him.
The fact that you use terms like “trap” proves that you are quite paranoid if you believe that those mechanisms are in place. That’s the problem with Indians, they are unethical so they see conspiracies everywhere… Diversity and Inclusion are not a trap
Go work for a non-Indian manager or better yet work your ass up to a managerial role and don’t do what your manager is doing. Complaining and whining seems to be a national sport these days. You can only have equality of opportunity not result.
Birds of a feather flock together
Try complaining I am 80% sure the HR will also be an Indian and most probably the wife of some Indian VP
This doesn't happen. Its a meme by wiggernats to cope for their shortcomings. endians hate each other and I'd never want to work with another endian let alone hire an endian
I’ve seen many examples of this at Amazon: teams in Seattle who are all Indian.
I have white managers with completely white teams. Isn’t that questionable? Will you report to the HR if a manager only hires white people? Look beyond color, maybe they were the only ones who met the bar?
