I get a feeling that eBay is so over staffed in "stakeholders" who like to provide "feedback", and so under stuffed in engineers who can really make a change in their products. And years after years, people who want to make things better are mostly gone, and it leaves with super burnout engineers wanting to conquer the universe with 3 people, and some "stakeholders" Yap.. Yap.. Yap..
It's the same situation at HPE. Everyone wants to lead and talk than actual coding.
