My iPhone XS Max starts acting weirdly when I’m multitasking during video call

After iOS 16 update, I have started seeing an issue where my iPhone XS max starts acting weirdly when I try to multitask during video call. My iPhone slows down, home screen keeps freezing, my video stops showing up to other person on call, could feel the back of iPhone is heating up slightly in middle left corner etc. Multitasking includes using facebook/insta/browser/maps. I have tried resetting my iphone and also installing new OS but nothing helps. I feel my iPhone has become a crap forcing me to upgrade to new iPhone. Anyone experienced same issue, maynot be same iPhone model ? Any suggestions to fix this ?
