If it's focus then you can survive it by actioning on the improvements. About 10% are put on focus and only 50% of those move to PIP.
Aggressively attack focus tasks and also start hunting for a new job and applying. Document everything and make sure to get feedback from your peers as well as your manager on quantity and quality of work at every milestone. Good luck.
To be real, this is likely a decision the skip supports as well. No use busting that rear if the intention is to remove them. Have them do less than the minimum if they have you and focus on applying elsewhere. Don’t waste time trying to humor them. Fool’s errand.
