Aren’t you at Meta?
Yeah! I did help two of my friends with their Fb last month and so the bugs team I think is not responding to me which is why I was asking other colleagues to see if they can help. The hacker is posting stuff about Bitcoin scams and messaging so many people and it’s been 4 days and we tried everything and it hasn’t been fixed
Why do meta recruiter try to minimize offer amounts? What are the incentives behind paying people the least amount possible?
I think more money in the pool to hire more people and get more commission
Great question. Every recruiter works a little different and so we are taught to give our first standard offer. The first standard offer is usually in the top 95% and then the negotiating begins when you have other offers and we see how we can pool you in. Our goal as a recruiter isn’t to save the company money but leverage what we can offer to the best of our ability. It’s the comp team and executive directors who decide what the comps are for everyone. Hope that answered your question!
My iG account always got hacked, so I just deleted my account (twice).
Get the account reported by a bunch of people/friends.. and start over?
Make sure you buy the latest oculus. Then customer service will help
What’s the threat here? Sorry I don’t use social media too often so unable to appreciate the threat. Is it that the hacker may post questionable content? I’m sure it can be reported and brought down.
You're going to have to have sex with the folks on the Instagram team who do censorship control
If you get me an SRE job at Meta and land me on the Instagram Engineering teams I'd be more than happy to help.
Some of the comments are hilarious 😂
Try to negotiate.
