My mortgage lender informed me that they had a security breach and everything they store about me was exposed: my name, my email, address, bank accounts I used for autopay, SSN, phone, DoB etc. All that they offer is 2 years of credit monitoring. I'm shocked and angry. I wonder what can I do aside from freezing credit report? Edit: If you're impacted - pay attention to the wording in the agreement you have to accept with their "free credit monitoring" offer - I'm not a lawyer but it seems you waive your right to sue if you accept.
Update all passwords
I got the same letter from my lender Only thing is monitor the credit report/score?

Same thing for me. Can’t do much. Block credit reports and change PWs.

What does it mean to have a bunch of McKinsey contractors hired in "strategy" roles
Pretty much nothing unfortunately. Maybe try a class action lawsuit going?
How can I join it? Also, if you accept their credit monitoring you're waiving your right to sue them - and this is why I didn't accept their free credit monitoring offer.
