Hi friend, I have just finished my onsite interview at Stripe TC: 250K at current company It's great experience, recruiter are really helpful. Interviewer are nice Language: Java I split into two days Coding: long questions, I was able to finish two parts in hackerrank at the end of time. 2 part running well, split code into small functions, follow clean code. Part 2 have a bug, i'm out of time to fix that Bug squash: Interviewer are very nice, collaborative. I provided 2 solutions to fix the bug. Fixed with first solution and optimized with second one. Finished in 30 mins. Interviewer look like it Integration: interviewer are very helpful, helped me understand the second part of problem because it's not clear for me. Finish part 1 in 10 mins, waste some time to understand the second part. I told interviewer that, anything I code I need to make sure I understand the problem well. Part 2 have several errors from API server that we should fix, I was able to fix all of that at right the end of interview. Interview said "good work". Is it not look good when I finished at the end? Design: I feel good this round, discussed and led conversation, finished early at 30 mins, round suppose to be 45mins. I asked interviewer to make sure he had any questions and unclear. He had questions during design, but he didn't have any extra questions at the end. Interviewer said design "look good and I cover some components in depth" Manager: I just be myself, I feel like I usually be underestimated during talking with managers, but I tried my best. I understand Stripe culture. Please let me know what you guys think. Any questions happy to answer #engineering #software #swe Update: I failed interview. Bug Squash and Design round went well, but programming exercise won't really well My mistake 1. Programming exercises: the problem is easy but it's really take a lot of time to code in hackerrank for Java or C# because setter, getter or constructor need to be written. 2. Integration round: I thought I did well on this round but, part2 I asked interviewer to help me understand the question. I think they expect us try to understand by ourselves
Sorry but the only issue I see is your communication in English is not too great. Just my honest opinion. Hope that does not go against you!
Yes, I knew I have problem. My english and accent are not too great, so I tried communicate slowly with manager
I think you have good chance, update us.
Failed, updated above
Currently at Stripe. If this helps at all, I believe interviewers can give strong yes, weak yes, weak no, or strong no. You can’t get anything below a weak yes and need at least 2 or 3 strong yes’s. Good luck!
Could I DM you?
Check your DM?
update us if you get an offer. guess you'll make it!
Sorry failed
Hey, can you please share your programming interview, do they ask concurrency related questions?
