Equinix offer evaluation
Got offer from Equinix for Principal PM Base:205k Bonus: 25% New hire RSU for 4 year : 230k across 4 yrs Yearly refresh: 115 No Sign on bonus. TC: 313k for first year. Anybody here can help me on their culture, wlb, I saw a thread earlier about politics and toxic environment. TC: 230k #offer #tech

I joined Equinix 8 months ago. So far I really like it. Great vibe. Super smart people, at least in my org. I have been in tech 20+ years and this is one of the best places I have worked. Leadership really cares and they try to make it fun. Bear in mind, I've only worked here remote due to covid so it will be interesting to see differences when we return to office....

It’s a good package. I started at Equinix 3 weeks back. So far I am liking it. Just keep in mind you won’t get your RSUs vested until you complete 1 year with company. Be ready to work little longer as you would need to coordinate with Singapore and UK team. Overall it’s a tier 2 company so you expect this kind of work environment.

I worked there for 4 years in OCIO and GTS. The stock and ESPP is ironclad so your comp grows a lot. It’s an older company with many 10+ year veterans. Therefore it’s over bloated with director levels and some organizations feel useless. But times are good and have always been good so nobody gets fired.
