Looks like levels finally added levels for hardware roles...finally some respect to us grunts https://www.levels.fyi/t/hardware-engineer?countryId=254&compare=Nvidia%2CIntel%2CApple
IC5 would be late 9, 10 early 11... no way grade 8 be a ic5.
Depends on company. The ic5 that is showing is for nvda.
apple vs intel seem to match what i have seen. Many from Apple @ ICT4 come back to Intel for the Gr10 external package + coasting oppotunity
thats my plan 😎😎😎
From what I heard from many, Intel grade levels are over-inflated. When I left to NVDA and talked about my compensation package, my HR rep was an ex-Intel and told me the same thing.
smh 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ intel grades arent inflated, theyre literally the og semi company and are the defacto baseline for grading in the hw/semi world. the difference is that with a scale such as intels u have more grades but it doesnt change the mapping from g6 to ict3 for example.
nothing changed in the mapping.. the grades were always there..
Depends on companies. Mappings are not copy paste. Screen shot is an example you can check.
it was always this exact mapping in sw as well…
