Hello everyone, With approximately seven years of experience in the finance industry, primarily focusing on full-stack development with React, I'm currently gearing up for a career change. I've invested in the premium version of LeetCode to aid in my preparation. My strategy for preparing for Amazon includes: 1. Completing a majority of the Amazon-tagged questions, prioritizing them by frequency. 2. Studying System Design through resources like Gaurav Sen's videos, Grokking Educative.io, and Alex Wu's book. 3. Familiarizing myself with Amazon Leadership Principles (LPs). Typically, I dedicate 4-6 hours to my daily workload, leaving some room for preparation activities. My goal is to start applying for L5 roles as early as June. Are there any additional considerations I should keep in mind while preparing? #tech
Leetcode under amazon tag and for systems design I would stay away from Gaurav Sen. Or any other online platform, they're not worth the time. The best thing you can do is read books and papers. Start with data intensive applications
Thank you 😊
Run away from Amazon, if u put that much work try other companies
Amazon is MUCH easier to get into than other big tech. Their bar is so low they are playing limbo. BUT if Amazon is OP’s goal, go for it. OP may hate it but get 2 - 3 years and can move to Google or Meta.
Yep that’s my plan 😊💐
Ditch Leetcode and go Algoexpert, get their systems design package as well. Their mantra is ‘do more with less’ so be prepared to be a boot licker in the interview process about the LPs, and how much you love RTO
This is the worst advice.
Hi Andy, how are you doing? AlgoExpert is far superior to LC
