Review the offer - CVS Data Scientist
Hey folks, I interviewed for CVS Sr data scientist position. Here's the interview process:(For those of you who are curious to know) Recruiter call -> coding test (python, stats, SQL, scikitlearn) -> call with the hiring manager -> virtual onsite After these steps the panel felt that I'm suitable for some other team so I had an another round of interview with that team's hiring manager. After that the recruiter came back to me notifying me that the team wants to extend me an offer for DS position instead of Sr DS. Offer : Base - 130k Bonus - 10% 401k - up to 5% matching after a year. Location - fully remote (Atlanta) I feel the stock component is missing from the offer. Current TC ~100k + 5% + c YoE ~ 3 yrs as a data scientist Please help me understand if the offer makes sense with the tips to negotiate. Your poll is missing the decent offer option. We don't know you so hard to say if you "can definitely do better". TC of 150k in Atlanta is worth much more than 150k in Bay Area. It seems you haven't negotiated, I would try to negotiate for 15% more

Seems like a decent offer for Sr. DS role at CVS health. I work in thier New York office and have similar TC.
Two weeks ago, I completed the virtual onsite round for CVS Health Senior Data Scientist, but I haven't heard back. Would you mind telling me how much time passed between completing the onsite round, having the next interview with the hiring manager, and ultimately getting an offer?

Can I DM you for data scientist interview process at CVS?
Did they say that sr DS gets stock or something? I thought a lot of non-tech companies don’t give RSUs or stock options to non-exec level roles. It seems like a net win and a sizable one at that and it doesn’t really make sense to have a sr DS that has 3 yrs of experience. Maybe push upward in compensation saying that for remote DS roles the compensation seems a bit weak. But without competing offers you don’t have much leverage.
