What is your take on NVDA & AMD stocks? Looks like both going down. NVDA down by 7% in last one month and AMD by 20%. Are you selling or holding? What is your opinion on them?
Nobody knows. Depends on what your take on AI is. Is it going to replace all devs? We’re going to need a lot of GPUs then, better buy now. Is it going to lead to more incremental improvements? It’s probably fairly priced then. Just saying that it’s inconsistent that so many of these AI hype people don’t have their entire net worth in Nvidia.
It's almost as if they are just hyping up their companies for their own benefit. 🤔
That’s like the dumbest thing I have heard recently. We are gonna need a lot more GPUs even if a percentage of enterprise start integrating AI into their business. It has nothing to do with AI replacing Devs. Maybe you should focus on growing your skillset and find a better job rather than being worried about getting phased out by technology.
Accumulate till the next earnings call, it will pop up again
Buy Buy Buy
Already sold
hold
NVDA going below $500.
what are you smoking, is that some AI generated weed ?
I'm in reality. It's the rest of you that are high.
Buy and hold or BTFD. There is an AI arms race going with LLM, self driving, AGI and whatnot. No clear winner or winners yet so capex in infrastructure will continue. Sovereign states have not even started investing yet. So looks good for the next 2 or 3 years. BTFD
Nothing has changed fundamentally about nvidia, its competitors or the general economy since last earnings. In fact, nvidia actually announced a crazy new gpu platform with collaborations with multiple industries since then. Therefore, this is just some market games, just hold or btfd. Will pop again around earnings next month.
Gaudi from Intel worries me . Is it really true that it’s better and more efficient than Nvidia and AMD ?
Their comparisons are to H100, which is a chip from 1+ year ago. Compare to B100, etc, it’s not even close. Also these claims are from intel themselves, so can’t really trust them until we see some real benchmarks and comparisons from a 3rd party
