NVIDIA doesn’t do layoffs unless they are shutting down the entire department/org. In 2008 the entire company took a pay cut to avoid layoffs.
Lol. Google didn't do layoffs in 2008 either. I don't trust public companies anymore.
Sure, that’s a wise approach in general, corporations are by definition responsible only towards the stock price. But Jensen is different, read about him if you get a chance.
What a Clown..
Nvidia data center GPUs are in very high demand, you guys are probably doing fine.
Yes.
Just quit dude
Just coast until ur manager realizes then quit. I feel like that’s similar to a layoff lol the coasting time is like a severance
Work on your startup on the side.
Not allowed.
You can
Lol just quit if you think you can do better. There are plenty of Nvidia motivated teams and unlike other companies Nvidia is actually a well run company with products that have plenty of runway.
Unlikely. Nvidia has managed headcount very well unlike a lot of companies.
I worked at Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and NVIDIA is definitely the best company from my experience. NVIDIA will take as much time as you give it, if you don't want to work you likely.can fly for some time and complain you don't grow. However, if you are not a stupid, there is tons of interesting work here. Moreover, it's not like other big companies you are locked down to a very precise and specific team work, you are fine to cooperate with others and they don't fight like e.g., in M$ that you crossing their field etc etc. In short, grow up ;-)
What's wrong with Nvidia? Do they give employee discounts for graphics cards?
Getting answers for blocking questions from manager once a week, everything is super slow. Working on same thing for N years. I’m really sick of it. Probably this is a great job for those who want to do literally nothing at their work and get paid for that. I’d better do my own startup where people would actually work and not sit.
Sounds nice for a chill job though
