I am an electrical engineer with three years of experience working on microwave RF systems at Northrop Grumman, particularly with expertise in digital receiver exciters and control. Presently, I work as an integration and test lead for a next generation, digitally beamformed, communications array. I have experience working with hardware, firmware, and embedded software teams to implement designed control architecture on custom chips and array components using MATLAB and in-house developed test suites. I am actively looking for a new job in the New York City area (the city or surrounding parts of NY or NJ). While I would be willing to work in many areas related to my experience, I'd be most interested in working on control systems or communications. My career started heavily in RF, but I would happily migrate towards a more digital role. Desiring a full-time position paying minimum $120,000 with medical benefits and paid-time off. Any leads or referrals would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! #hardware #interview #referral
Aren’t there Nokia and Ericsson?
NJ or Boston is your only bet. I grew up in NY, specifically LI. Anything interesting as far as mechanical or electrical engineering, got up and left for California long ago (aerospace, defense, etc).

PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
Pretty sure Jane Street is next door, but there's also persistent systems however they're DoD and most likely won't pay you the amount you want. Will be following this thread myself because honestly I don't think there's a lot of HWE opportunities in this city.
