It has been very slow the interviewing process with Google and I'm not expecting it to wrap up before the new year. On the other hand, I have the chance to apply for GC at my company now then the concequences will be at least paying back all the fees in case I quit. Given that transferring h1b will take months now without PP, is it wiser to apply for GC (it is current so will take < 2 years if not less) or should I wait? Will Google be understanding for this issue in case I got an offer? Do you have any similar experience?
GC or gtfo
GC != ‘garbage collection’ ?
TC or GTFO
Any serious opinion about this will be highly appreciated.
PERM will take 6 months (if no audit). Then you can file I 140 and I 485 and EAD and you will probably get your EAD within 2 to 3 months. At this point you can work anywhere you want. It looks like you don’t even have an offer. You should apply for GC with your current employer. And talk to your lawyer about the timeline. I am not a lawyer.
what type of ead will you get? Is it safe to apply for GC on f-1?

How important are soft skills in tech interviews?
U Indian?
No I'm not. GC priority date is current.
Okay then you'll have no issues. Enjoy your GC.
