Need advice: Is this a good offer for an SFA in the Bay Area?

I want to relocate back to the Bay Area to be close to family because my dad is very sick. Considered an internal transfer or working remote but assuming a COL adj wouldn’t happen or be strong enough. Started looking and got an offer from a recently IPO’d startup that I’m into it. But I’m finally over the struggle at Amazon, feels like I have good momentum, on good projects, etc. Don’t really like Seattle but made some friends and things are looking up. Current TC - 81K base - 52K in RSUs (60 shares) - 17K bonus year 1, 15K bonus year 2 - 10K relo - 3.5 YOE (1.5 at AMZN) Offer TC - 103K base - 45K in RSUs - 6K bonus I’m conflicted. Yay or nay? Edit: For the record this is a jump from L5 FA to an SFA.

Holy fuck. So you know the poverty rate in SF for a single person is in the mid $80k. That’s a terrible offer for bank much less a FAANG

Sadly I’m not an engineer nor in quantitative finance. Just a finance business partner, you know? Would be living in Emeryville if that matters.

Still seems too low for SF
