Hello blinders, My wife recently got an onsite opportunity from India to usa and the company is applying for a l1 blanket visa. They said they can send me a dependent visa which is l2. So. Wanted to know whether I can work on l2 and if yes how difficult it is to get a job on l2. Location is san diego and the salary offered to her is pretty less which is 90k. When asked for a raise upto 120k they are giving lame answers like your husband will end up a good job of atleast 150k which is kinda farcical. I am currently based out of Bangalore and was working for a series a startup but was laid off last week. My salary here was close to 55 lpa and I work mainly on backend . So is there any chance of me landing a job there or is it safe to continue my job search here and dodge this opportunity.? #refer #l2 #visa #career #advice #gap #l1 #h1b #jobfit #jobhunt
