Need help …to break in to faang companies
I am 17+ years experience in IT field . Had a lot of fire around my 3rd year of my career . Now I am stuck in a comfort zone since 14 years and not liking it any more . I am at a stage where my salary need to be around 400/450 k but doing less than half of that. I know I still have to be thankful for what ever I get . But feel i am much more worth than it if I apply my focus towards the goal . But i need some direction or referral or help in lifting me up from this situation . I am willing to do what ever it takes to prepare for the job. I am in to Datawarehouse technologies and BI reporting . Kindly help if you are recruiter . Kindly advice or refer if you have a job that fits my profile .

I am in the same boat as you, similar years of experience and salary range. Dont think you are making less. Based on your location, you may be making <150k if you are not in one of the FAANG companies and arent in California. Build up your skills, redo your resume, and finally, keep in mind that market is very bad right now, so it will take some time to get a better paying job.
Well, think you can buy power tools, you can probably break in when no one is looking?
