Hello, I am an international student and recently completed my Bachelor's in IT with a minor in Business. I am currently on OPT(temp work authorization) but require sponsorship to work after a couple of years. I have few offers but I am not really sure what to do. Please Help! 1. Accenture: Pay: $80k + Bonus Role: Analyst - Cloud Advisory Joined last month. They said I can work until my OPT but can not sponsor. I can work here for 2.5 years and then get married and move on to my husband's visa (no sponsorship will be required) or just find a new job in the meantime. I can ask them to sponsor but it may jeopardize my employment. 2. Goldman Sachs: Pay: $60k + Bonus Role: Operations Analyst Interested in operations and GS will sponsor which is a major plus point. Less pay and have to move across the country though. 3. Optum: Pay: $72k + Bonus Role: Advisory Analyst - Consulting Development Program They are okay with OPT but not sure if they sponsor. I interned with them last summer and have to move to the mid-west 4. AT&T: Pay: $89k + Bonus Role: Project Manager This is the perfect job for me but they are unable to sponsor. I can work here for some time and then get married and move on my husband's visa (no sponsorship will be required) or just find a new job if it doesn't work out. GS is the only one sponsoring so far for sure but very less pay and I need to move. Sponsorship would be great but I also don't want to lose the other opportunities so I am confused. Please share some recommendations/thoughts along with long-term benefits of the company/role, growth opportunities, sponsorship. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! #Help #CareerAdvice #GS #ATT #Optum #accenture
Bigger question, husband has i-140 approved? If yes, look for TC if no look for GS.
No sponsorship now does not equal no sponsorship in the future. Also, what are your top priorities eg job satisfaction, job potential, pay, location, sponsorship.
The top priority is to live in the US while working in a company with good career growth and hopefully be in a managerial position with decent job pay/location
Join GS, get your H1 lottery done, don't depend on spouse's visa/ead.
Under Accenture, second last sentence, you meant finding a new job right?
Yeah, if they don't sponsor then find a new job haha
PS: join Amazon as BA.
Can I please DM you?
Sure
Not sure why AT&T is not sponsoring you. They are currently filing for H1Bs without any pushback.

You have answered yourself though
True, I guess I just needed to know what others have to say!
