Hello everyone, I am an MBA graduate based in Boston, MA with 3 years of experience combining pre-MBA Project Management, Product (Engineering/Auto), and Finance (current role/post-MBA). I have been trying to enter the Tech industry (FAANG - non-tech role) for a while, but it just seems too hard - I know it's not supposed to be that easy. Would really appreciate it if someone can connect with me to either be a mentor or just a referee to help me get where I want to be! Looking forward to hearing from you folks and connecting with you! TC: $110K (I work for a non-profit) YOE ~ 3 #tech #networking #mentor #referral #help #mba #finance #product #strategy #internationalstudent #amazon #facebook #meta #google #netflix #apple
Why tech tho? You enjoy tech or just for the higher TC? Post TC and we can steer u
Tech is exciting to me - also it comes with a higher TC and a brand name that would definitely help.
Also just posted the TC

Non profits pay $110k for 3 yrs experience in finance? An L5 in finance at Amazon won’t pay much more than that
Yes they do. I joined on a MBA track for a Senior Analyst position. It is not a typical financial analyst role but tends to lean more towards business strategy and some PMO work around finance. Also, the company I work for is known for paying decently for a non-profit.
The roles that I am looking for in Tech aren't necessarily limited to Finance roles - given my diverse experience. Hope this answers your questions. :)
In tech or non tech role?
Non-tech (MBA)
