Hey everyone, I’ve been reading and talking to a lot of current MSBA students and grads and have mostly heard positive things. However, most of what I’ve heard here labels MSBA as a waste of time and money. I’m seriously considering what should I do next. I have two years of experience in analytics with a pharmaceutical giant (working from India) and decided on Carlson at UMN for MSBA. It’s really expensive (COA:80-82k USD) but literally everyone I’ve spoken to seems ok with it. I wanted to find out the truth from someone who’s preferable graduated from this school. For others, the school is ranked in the top 10 for this course, and is known for having a somewhat advanced analytics course I would really appreciate your help since it’s not long before I actually have to fly off. But if there’s serious doubt, I might reconsider Thanks!

Biden meant “illegal” immigrants, right?
Doing an MS is a faster, sure shot way to get into the US and get a job there. But it comes at a higher cost. You can also get into companies like Amazon, Google in India and try to move to their US office. You would have the same role then had you done an MS, but it is not assured nor is it fast. Trade off is between time and money. Make your choice.
