I’m not a PM, but I do have a lot of changes to make in my organization and could really benefit from some studying. Looking for recommendations of books or courses or YouTube videos or shamen, whatever. I don’t need to be an expert, if I can get 80% of the way there in 20% of the time, that’s plenty. What helped good PM practices sink in for you?#productmanager #pm #programmanager
You need to make organizational changes. You don’t need PM skills you need people influencing skills.
Are you a C-Level, EVP, SVP, GVP, or VP? If not, don't try to make org changes. First of all you won't succeed. Second of all, any insignificant change you make won't stick and any credit will be taken by VP+. Not to dissuade you of course, but this comes from personal experience in driving org changes at F500, F50, SMB past 20 years (I'm a former VP, for what that's worth!)
You are confused. Product Or Program? Choose one.
