Neetcode quit his high paying job at Google and ran a 24 hour livestream a few days ago. He spent the entire time solving Leetcode problems through the night. After the stream ended he discovered YouTube doesn’t save streams after 12 hours. No one in the chat recorded the stream so his efforts were all lost. F https://www.youtube.com/live/W77tXhVBQvY
never knew ultra-Lc-marathon became a thing
Something to think about. I remember Minecraft’s or mmorpg marathons and here we go in 2023 with leetcode marathons instead. Where are we heading ?
manual labor streams
Lost media
How many problems did he solve?
How do people quit high-paying jobs for streaming and TikTok?? Do they actually make more with this stuff? What about stability and long-term finances
Depends. Some of them make millions in a year. That’s more than enough for it all.
He has a copy of it but is gonna sell it as an NFT later on. He's gonna continue making vids and when he's more popular he gonna sell it
Lol he definitely have a local copy of the stream. He could definitely re-upload it all in 3 parts.
I remember randomly clicking on his stream and he was talking about doing 1 push up for every LC problem he fails, and then hours later if not the next day I again watched his stream and he was finally gonna do the pushups, he managed to do about 23 pushups, and then almost passed out on his chair from exhaustion lol, great stream.
He also said he would do a squat for every problem he couldn't solve in the beginning. When I came back, he was squatting 27 times.
Huh, I thought he started the channel as resumes to get into Google. Now he quits it ? Wow
Uh.. who… cares? Who the fuck would watch that
Google simps
New class of entertainment. Edutainment.
The mad lad actually did it (the marathon) by the end of the stream he had the sharpness of a stressed monkey. Similar to me at my apex
