Negotiating with LinkedIn
Getting an offer soon for LinkedIn Sr. SWE - are they pretty good about matching other offers? I dumbly told them about an offer I had from some B-list company, but forgot to mention I might have a Facebook offer coming my way as well. Are they going to lowball me? Any tips for landing in the upper range of the Sr SWE TC band? Figured I'd just point to levels.fyi and ask for more. Help me lads, I've never had a shot at big boy money before

true but I don't know that I'll stay at LinkedIn for more than a few years anyways. Figured if I could get a decent signing bonus I'd make out alright. Plus I live 1.5miles from the campus, and with all the perks and WLB, I don't know if the extra stress of FB is worth it lol

LinkedIn senior won't be able to beat fb e5 but could beat e4. Expect 270-340 range
Is that true? My offer for senior swe was 270k and they told me that was their max offer. Their initial offer was much lower

They didn't match Google for me, the best I got was: 180/350/60 even when I declined it.

Never tell your numbers first. LinkedIn could beat fb offers. Very dependent on your interview
