Negotiation/interview process in Singapore

Recruiter asked me to share details about my current TC in the US and give a salary range before moving me on to the next round. Said it is common in Asia to do so. I know that in California, you don’t have to reveal anything about current TC and give a salary range. Is it the same in Singapore? #negotiation #interview #asia #singapore #money

I generally do share my current TC or the range but this is just my personal opinion on that :)
