Negotiations tactics

I received an offer yesterday from Facebook with TC 445k. I am falling short of negotiation skills and not able to find any tactic to get it raised. This was their first offer and I couldn’t even think of any idea on what should I speak in terms of negotiation, so I just said I’ll discuss this with my family and get back to buy myself some time. Any help is appreciated. Current TC - 300k

Noob question. TC=total compensation? 445k TC has to include stock options, right?

I have this in mind. But kinda fear of sounding too rude. I have heard recruiters’ counter questions are aggressive sometimes.

Nope you won't, if we don't value ourselves, noone else will. Good luck you deserve more

445k TC over what timeframe? As a past IPO recipient, we need more info on the comp plan breakdown. What salary are they offering? What's your stock offer price? 15% below market? You want more stock? You want higher salary?

Base - 220 stock + bonus - 900k (4yrs)
