Dear all, I am currently an Intern in the F&C department of Nestle. However, I have another offer from Financial Advisory - Deloitte. In the upcoming future I would like to work in Investment Banking and feel that Deloitte would give me more touch points in my career path, but feel bad to leave Nestle because I am in the middle of their intern. I plan to work for 3.5 months at Nestle (instead of 6 months) then switch to Deloitte. What do you guys think? #finance #internship
Don’t stay in the food industry. Pursue your goals. If you wanna do ibanking then deloitte could be your stepping stone.
Deloitte will be able to open up many more future opportunity paths for you as compared to Nestle.
As ex-Nestlé, I can tell you that at least when it comes to your compensation, you will be better off at Deloitte as Nestlé does not pay competitively.
Being a current Nestlé employee coming from consulting, I can say that Deloitte will give you more exposure than Nestle.
Deloitte is good, but don't stay here for more than 2 yrs
Keep interviewing.
If you want investment banking, your exposure will be limited in Nestle compared to Deloitte.
Work culture sucks at Deloitte. It’s a mess
I know 😂 but it’s the only option that I have
