Interviewing for a Director level role. They mentioned its primarily cash based instead of equity. For Senior level roles what should I ask for in terms of equity? Do they pay equity at all in their packages? Most TC packages I've seen on Glassdoor are $350-$400k all cash for this level.
No equity unless you buy it. That's the entire point of their comp philosophy.
Would love to work for NFLX. But not in the right job category and hell no can't move to Cali.
350-400 is sr eng comp at google/Facebook, Netflix should be close. Eng director should be way way ahead.
Their offer is all cash but you can trade for equity if u want it. Don't see the point of that as you can just buy the stock
I think you can buy it at a discount.
It's discounted options.
I'm surprised you haven't read or been sent by hr to the culture doc: jobs.netflix.com/culture Comp philosophy (minus specific $) is covered there.
I wanna know too (please tag the company to get answers)
