Netflix Interview Feedback Timeline
I had a final interview with Netflix for an L5 position 2 Fridays ago. This past Friday, the recruiter reached out and said they’re still analyzing feedback and finishing interviews and that I should expect to hear back by the following Friday. Is this a bad sign? I feel like if I was their number one choice they would just extend an offer. Current TC: 320k #netflixhiring #netflix
Sometimes people are slow, sometimes you're not first choice. Impossible for you to know, just be patient.

Wasn’t for an SWE role but everything you read on here is true. Very heavy on the culture memo so make sure you read through that and have anecdotes that can speak to that
Was this for DE L5 ? If yes can you please share your experience. What kind of questions asked in screening and in onsite rounds. Recruiter has reached out to me for DE L5 position.
I had to wait until they interviewed another candidate and then compared us both in a final panel. Don’t read too much into it
Just what they said. They likely had multiple people in the pipeline and want to finish they currently set before making an offer. It doesn’t benefit the company cutting that short. Especially if you don’t have other active offers requiring a fast decision (now would not be the time to tell them. That would have been before the round).
The time to tell them is whenever you receive an active offer. Everyone is interviewing with multiple companies in parallel. It’s impractical to assume that you’ve already received other offers before the round starts.

Not yet, they said likely by Friday of this week

Still interviewing, was referred to a different team, so far so good 🤞
Very common for them to finish all candidates first then evaluate, this can take upto weeks.

If they’re still finishing interviews they don’t know yet if your the top choice since they didn’t interview everyone yet
