Netflix Interviews
Hello experts ! I had netflix first round interview with hiring manager couple days back. It was really productive and hiring manger was impressed. He told me that you are 90% fit. I am waiting for next round. What should I expect and which area to focus. This is for Data Engineering position. Any pointers are much appreciated ! Ask your hiring manager about what to expect for the interview technically. Mine was all practical engineering questions I stead of leetcode BS and quite enjoyable overall. Also, please take some time to review the culture deck and write down what you like about it and what you're unclear about or dislike.
Cool, this is helpful. I am also not focusing on Leetcode and preparing practical problems.
Another thing I just remembered that helped me: be comfortable talking about a project you led from both a non-technical and technical standpoint. You can be rejected if you fail the product interviews.
My wife is interviewing for the technical round today and Yh, they will blow away your TC
What was her offer?
She doesn’t have one yet. But she’s currently at 160 base in lcol and receuiter said can EASILY double that . Netflix is known to always pay top of the market
Not sure but good luck! Your Netflix offer would probably be 5x your current tc....

Netflix is not LC. Technical round will have a lot of discussion on your current and past projects and just 1-2 sql/python questions. You just need to yourself in the interview and explain how you solved typical DE problems in past.

@OP: Update : She got past all the hiring manager phase, technical phase and now she’s on to onsite 1, if onsite 1 goes through for 4 hours, next is onsite 2 for 2 hours . It’s like 10 hours of interviews total, insane !

My wife completed this and manager call is pretty straightforward is what she said , but it depends on the team , interviews are very team specific , she had a case study, discussed backgrounds , projects and team
