If my current TC is 700k, will Netflix L5 match that? Based on what I'm reading on Blind apparently the max they go is 650k. Is this correct? Then aren't Netflix job ads misleading?
Doesn’t the ad say 100k - 900k?
To be paid above average you must be above average.
L5 at Netflix official pays up to 650K, L6 up to 900K. But most L5 get 550K at medium, L6 is 750K.
Why don't you ask the recruiter before going into any technical rounds. Netflix recruiters are quite straightforward. You tell them how much you want, and they'd let you know if it's possible
This didn't happen with Netflix but some other companies. I told them i want 700k. They just outright rejected me. Then i learnt that if you don't disclose and if you had really good rounds of interviews they actually have room for negotiating 100k+ by involving a Director. It happened to a friend of mine. He bumped his 580-590k offer to 700k from the company that rejected me.
Yeah I don’t disclose upfront. I tell them what I want once I have an offer
ML L5 yes, others no
Netflix only pays 750k for L5 wtf.. I thought they paid 1.2m
how many YOE
Did you clear? How many rounds?
Any reference for Netflix SRE?
They arent gonna match your stock appreciation which is gonna fade away in 4 years
What if my TC was this much pre stock appreciation?
For E5? Recruiters will think you are delusional and may not return your call back. Make yourself E6 and its more believe-able
