Tuxedo
Does hurt to wear a tie
Casual is fine. Just don’t look sloppy. I wore jeans and a button up with sneakers.
Which role? I wore a t-shirt and jeans. They wore T-shirt and jeans. For non-technical, I’d recommend something more business casual.
Most directors dress like engineers. VP and up may be different.
Doesn’t matter. You will still be fired.
Casual is fine. I wore a polo, jeans and casual sneaker.
I wore slacks and dress shirt with no tie. I was probably overdressed but I think that is better than worrying about it.

I always dress up. You can't even go wrong dressing up. You can go wrong dressing down.
thats not always true. just dress in the middle, casual smart. its just like a date. overdressing means they care too much (I’m above their league). underdressing means they’re cocky.
