Netflix benefits
Outside from all cash comp and 5% options (can someone post how options work?) what other benefits do they have? Food, health, 401k, relocation, etc.

Everything mentioned above. They’ll lowball relocation but you can ask for more. I think they max at 10k. I used every penny for relocation because the Bay is insane.
I went through relocation and it was the opposite of lowball. They were willing to accommodate anything I needed. 3 months is typical coverage for temp housing. Actual cash given is 10k yeah, but you can ask for pretty much anything to be transported.
By lowball I mean they start cheap. They originally offered me 5k but, seeing as I was already working there, I knew about the 10k thing. Just mean to kinda politely ask for that 10.
Incredible relocation ... pretty much a dream relocation package...the 10 k you referring to is not the relocation ... that’s just incidentals .... relocation is pretty much any amount and get full reimbursement... plus 3 months corporate apartment , storage etc etc etc ...
Food: grab and go breakfast items, with a hot breakfast buffet on fridays. Catered lunch everyday along with eat club grab and go meals. No dinner. Pretty good variety of snacks, drinks, and ice cream. Health: you get $15k/year allowance to spend on health/dental/vision insurance, which you pick from a list provided by Netflix. If you don’t spend it all, you get back up to $5k. 401k: Netflix will match 100% of your contributions, up to 3% of your salary. IRS limit for employer contributions is based on a limit of $275k salary. If your salary is at least $275k, you end up getting $8,250 contribution per year from Netflix. Relocation: I don’t know, didn’t deal with this
