Netflix: job application qualifications

Hi, question for hitting managers (bonus points if you work for Netflix). When looking for applicants to a job requiring 12 years of work experience, at what point does that 12 years start? I've worked, at jobs decent enough to put in a resume, for 15 years, 5 as a manager at a private owned restaurant, 2 as an intern for Vfx and movie houses, and 8 in the marketing field. I'm currently in a director position. My resume shows progress, but in various fields. Where does that leave me? #career #entertainment #media @netflix
