Netflix job applications
Within last 1-2 years I had applied for 100s of Netflix jobs. But I did not receive even a single recruiter call. My profile is not as impressive as FAANG employee profiles . I was able to get calls from other FAANG companies with the same resume though. Is there anything specific I am missing while applying for Netflix?

And Netflix hires mainly for Senior roles (at least in engineering). Check the profile of their Sr SWEs, nearly all of them have 5+ YoE. And their Data Scientists, PhD and 3+ YoE.

Why dont you get into FAAG first? Smaller firms are more selective.
You need to keep in mind the size difference of Netflix compared to the other companies. Quick search says Google employees almost 100,000 people while Netflix employees almost 9,000. Now of course all of those aren’t engineers but you can see that just the head count difference is could be a reason why you get calls from other companies and not Netflix. Bigger companies have more roles to fill.
