Netflix job openings site is down :/

Netflix HQ just moved down the street from where I live. I heard great things about working there and I don't know how many times I read the Netflix culture power point for inspiration. I guess I will check back. If you have any insight about working at the LA office, I'm all ears. Say hello to your web hosting guys though! I joke of course.

Well I wasn't decent enough for a selfie.

You are using Internet explorer 😮

Definitely IE. Chrome experience is very poor over ICA protocol and extremely poor on any type of roaming environments. From the sounds of it you guys are all devs so you really wouldn't know and I wouldn't hold it against you :) I'm definitely a windows person because that's what my job entails. I have only used Linux for dev classes in college. Anyways, some of us have to learn and deal with the MS and make this world a better place. Not everyone has the luxury of Linux heaven in "real companies" as the LinkedIn person pointed out below. It's amazing how some people can be such assholes behind the veil of the internet.

1) Windows user 2) IE/edge user 3) picture of monitor instead of screenshot > send to phone. I don't think you'd fit in at Netflix let alone any real company.

Take another look. The OS came with Edge and he took the time to install IE 😂

OS comes with IE. You're just gonna come off as an ignorant asshole the harder you try to offend me. Click start - type iexplore.exe. Open and pin to task bar. Next!

Microsoft Satan6 Aug 31, 2017

What's wrong with using Windows? Edge is pretty good too.

No, Linux or MacOS screenshot are only acceptable

Regarding #3 above: Consider the steps. Screen shot, transfer the screen shot to my Virtual desktop or configure outlook locally (since I pretty much use my laptop as a thin client) or use some webmail ridiculousness, email it to my self, wait for the email to propagate over an inordinate number of hops through the Internet, download and save the pic to camera roll, open blindapp, post to topic - dude some of us are working while blogging, ain't nobody got time for that. You guys can read it just fine as it seems from your overly descriptive analysis. Oh no, an imperfect world! Somebody posted a picture of their monitor! Give me a break ladies.

Don't worry, many devs are assholes :) People on Twitter yell at me when I use Edge instead of Chrome for screenshot :) Honestly, I like the way Edge looks and functions, I just use Chrome for dev tools and profiles. Similar to political world, Republicans vs Democrats, Windows vs Rest

@mx_clear: OS does default to Edge but I was answering your question regarding "installing IE". But actually come to think of it, if it didn't come with it, I would want to install IE. Edge support is not very good in the CRM space and a lot of websites are still rewriting their code to detect and adjust to Edge because most companies develop and test with IE first and the other browsers come as an after thought. That's just truth...
