Why is Netflix stock so popular among institutional investors? Why it keeps going up so much even though it doesn't give back dividends, can't afford buyback and just boast about users? Even though they have positive cash flow they just have 10 to 15% profit margin? Can they ever get to 50% profit margin to make any sense of their market cap? What's the guess on tomorrow's quarterly and annual results?
The people that bailed off EA and ATVI but still want something hip in the entertainment industry, probably
Short it, Disney is coming
Ya but they are expecting almost 9m user addition. What if they say they added 10m🤪
Well short term they can go up, but long term they will have to compete as a content creator and while I think they do ok at that, I think Disney and others do it better.
3 week time horizon in the stock market? Brilliant. It’s flat over 3 months, which is still an inconsequential length of time.
It has positive cash flow?
Word probably got out that Netflix was planning to raise prices
Pricing power for now. They can raise prices and no one will churn. That the assumption but Netflix doesn't break out churn numbers
nflx bloodbath post earnings tomorrow
House of cards
