Funny world we live in. Netflix lost 1M subs, missed on revenue. Provided weak guidance across the board and the stock is up 8% after hrs.
Pumb and dumb
Pumb?
Yes Pumb it's combination of pump and dumb
This happens in bull markets
Bull market?
Right… please circle the bull when you see it.
Cramer said to sell, so the market is extremely bullish.
Does reverse Cramer ever work lol
Like clockwork
Because it was priced in to be even worse, so this reaction is “it’s not as bad as it could have been”
They lost less than half of what they were expected to lose. It’s a small win for Netflix and it means they’re kinda consolidating their users
The subs they loss were from higher arpu EMEA and NAmerica, and made up with APAC. Not great Imo. Would be nicer to see the west stop losing subs. They are making changes but their content actually needs to speak to viewers. Can't believe they were about to cancel Chapelle. SMDH.
It's less than the loss that was priced in.
It’s not a funny world. They beat expectations, hence stock goes up.
People and funds who want to sell already sold. Who is the incremental seller here? There are tons of incremental buyers at this time. Fundamentals don’t move price. Order flow does. Fundamentals might give reason for order flow but not necessary.
People are in denial phase.. it’s just going to get worse.
Yup
