Love to hear or confirm from Blind community. My recruiter has said that there is a new refresher policy starting pretty soon. Basically, what it is that it will take a look at what you earn at y1 and y2 TC, and then if you perf good or okay, it will maintain or beat your y2 TC, say short 50K at y3, the refresher invested will be 50K or more. This sounds pretty unclear how it really works. Anyone from Uber can confirm on this new change? Many thanks in advance! #uber

I just signed an offer last week. They have changed their vesting schedule to 35/30/20/15 and there is no cliff. The TC will dip in Y3 and the refresher should bridge the gap. My offer letter says I won’t get a refresher in 2022 as I missed the June 30th cutoff and I will be eligible for the 2023 refresher. It’s unclear if the refreshers will vest in the new schedule to give a boost in the grant year to smooth the curve.

The recruiters must be morons because they’re getting weekly training on this. The fact that everyone on blind has heard something different indicated to me that recruiters continue to keep their head up their crass. No wonder we have attrition and empty seats.
The company is not even profitable yet and now coming up with the refresher policy... wow
