Is there new hire training for ABP at Google to learn the Google way and get handover from old ABP? I am hired as an experienced hired but I think there are a lot more things I would have to do as an ABP here than I did at my old job. And this is a level up for me supporting someone more senior at a much bigger company so I feel like I'll get a bit of imposter syndrome and have a fear or failing.. I was excited to start but now I'm a little scared what it will be like at Google and if I could handle it. Are other admins helpful?
This is an older post, but yes. Lots of training.
May I ask how the interview process was? I have a phone screen for an ABP role next week. And congrats! I’m sure you will do just fine.
I met with a lot of people. It was phone screen, 2 ABPs who did the GCA type questions, 2 executives including the VP I will support, and a final round with the exec I would support. But the time between the ABP interviews and finding a team needing an ABP took about 5-6 months.
Thank you for the details. My last role took a few months as well so I appreciate the details. Congrats again!
