https://www.tollbrothers.com/luxury-homes-for-sale/Washington/Woodgate Any reviews about this community? Seems like good schools, haven't seen any other areas with such a good rating (9 or 10). Close to Bellevue, i.e., 30 mins commute and large communities around. Houses are ~2M$ Please provide any pros/cons Tc:500k
Lol 30 min commute…
Is it not right? To Bellevue meta office?
1 hour plus to Seattle
Not the best builder but they aren’t totally terrible. I wouldn’t pay over 600 per sqft for anything that takes an hour or more to get to Seattle in traffic
I don't want to pay either. But are there any alternatives that you can suggest.
Lol Sammamish bag holder spotted. 18m to mercer from the depths of Sammamish in peak traffic. What bs
Stock price was up 30% early this year which means more people have the money to buy right now than last year. But the price is still the same, and houses stay on Redfin for months before sale. I say the market would have been crashing without the stock market.
Stocks could still fall if the 10-year stays above 4%
Toll Brothers have a bad reputation regarding quality of housing. Overpriced boxes mostly.
Who is better though? Please don’t say Horton.
No new builders have good rep in the area. Better if you go for older homes.
For Bellevue commute - Snoqualmie and North bend might be similar. You may get 20-30% cheaper options there. The goal would be to buy close to i-90 For Redmond though - this location is better. Price wise it's expected to be in that range.
Snoqualmie, maybe. But north bend seem really bad compared to the sammamish location of this community
I-90 is usually empty till you try to switch to 405. Internally roads are not that fast plus can have school bus driven traffic. Therefore the time becomes comparable for certain locations. The location you shared is still better because it's the same time to Bellevue/Seattle but you get more options for services - restaurants, kids. The only reason to consider other places would be to save money/ less budget. If you are buying for the long term then it doesn't matter - just get it done. Best wishes! Btw the light rail is coming to Redmond so that may help as well
Sammamish is good but v far out, especially if have to commute to seattle
Can you share better commute with good schools please. New to area
Go north. Bothell, Kenmore, Mill Creek, etc. Basically between northern Kirkland and southern Lynnwood.
Lol 30 mins is close? Even 5 mins to the office feels too long.
Far af, looks like poor quality for a new build, crazy small for that price and your TC is too low for that home. Esp if you’re including stock increase
What are better quality in your view. Honest question, not aware of how to even gauge quality
What should OPs TC be to afford this home?
I’m going to outbid you
They are new builders with many houses available now. No bidding

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Starting at $1.75m??? WTF Hesus Tits is this?? In Sammish, WA?? Seattle is worse than Bay Area.
From Bay Area, where can you get a new home with 2500sft + in the Bay Area with comparable schools for 1.75M
Sammamish is close to Redmond, 1.75M is par for the course, is a highly rated school district. It’s still way cheaper than Bay Area, in Bay Area a similar house and a similar location would be 2.5-3M or so.
