Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
Officially 4 YOE as of this January. SWE 2 at Google, been at this level for 3 years but part was at Amazon. Full resume is Bachelors in CS at State school 1.5 years Sony 1 year Amazon, L5 1.5 years at Google, L4 I’m happy with my salary but feel unstable at Google, my product area is shaky and there’s a lot of uncertainty within the org. I also think it’s basically impossible to get promo’ed because I got a M (bad) on my first annual review, and promos are hard to come by across the board right now. What step should I take next? $270k
If we can go to stable and profitable smaller techs and be the "principle" engineer that's less replaceable, then be it. I am looking for it now.
Suggest something for 4 yoe not 14 yoe
Exactly, that would be the dream, but no “stable smaller tech” would take me on as a principle. Maybe a unicorn startup… not the definition of stable. They would also work me to death
Visa status
Do you need stability at low yoe and US citizen? Just get higher pay
