Here is my experience with recent application process at Accenture. I applied to L9 position and had my technical as well as closing interview within 2 weeks. Went through each round with flying colors and both interviewers were very excited that I was joining them. The first interviewer even asked me to reach out to him after I join Accenture so he can mentor me. All good news until I start talking to the recruiter about the offer. My Profile: 5 years experience in database related roles. Master's in CS from top 10 US universities. Here's my timeline: * Offer Day minus 2 Weeks: Told recruiter about my salary expectation of 156k (HCOL area) * Week 1: Technical Interview. Excellent experience. Answered all question. Interviewer was very pleased and told me the recruiter will be reaching out. He even offered to be my mentor when I join Accenture. * Week 2: Closing Interview. Excellent experience and he told me recruiter will be reaching out. * Offer Day - Recruiter reaches out saying they can't offer 156k but can do 140k plus 15k sign one. I said let's make is 150k but 10k sign on. Didn't hear back from recruiter except he sent me few forms to fill out so he can send me official offer. * Offer Day + 2: Recruiter calls me saying they couldn't do 150k anymore and offered me 130k base with 15k sign on. I told him in that case, I would love at least 20k sign on. He didn't commit to 20k sign on but we agreed 130k base is guaranteed. He tells me he will send in official paper work end of day. * Offer Day + 3: Didn't get official offer that day. However, I received an encrypted email saying 130k is no go and to accept 115k instead. * Offer Day + 4: I told them I need 130k base and if that is not possible, to withdraw my application. Received email back saying how Accenture is so good (lol) and how I will learn and stuffs. I didn't reply back. * Offer Day + 7: Received an automated email saying "Sorry to hear you declined our offer" This was a serious waste of time for a week. They offered me almost 40k less than they what they initially offered. Glad I waited to give in my 2 weeks. Be cautions and don't give two weeks until you literally start. Can't trust Accenture no more. If the hiring process was any indication of company's culture, Accenture is doomed. In other notes, looking for referral for Data Science and or Engineering roles.

Us top 10 univ to accenture? Are you comedy me bruh
My current experience is in a public university and while I am an excellent programmer and pretty much build anything from scratch, I haven’t been exposed to fancy tools that everyone uses and thought consulting will be a great place to master them by taking on short consulting projects every few months.
Abe Saale !!!! If u are graduate from one of the top universities, why would u attend Accenture?? Even Indians from low tier engineering institutions will not prefer Accenture
Check the comment I made in another post. Lesson learnt lol
Wowww. I was hired by them and had a great experience. I’ve never heard of something like this happening before
