I used to work at Nike and I heard that the employee discount policy was updated to give FTE a lifetime discount after 5 years of service. If I had 3 years previously as a full time employee would I gain that lifetime benefit if I joined Nike and worked for 2 years or would I need a new 5 year window? Loved the company when I worked for it and this would certainly be a benefit that would bring me back! TC: 170 YOE: 3
The policy does state it's cumulative and can include breaks in service.
Very intriguing :) thank you!
Family list gets locked in too - and they benefit for life.
How about countries outside US?
Just curious. How are the employee discounts?
50% at the company store, 40% off online, no discount on launch/SNKRS. And a whole host of other outdoor brands - skis, bikes, etc.
Where do I get a bike from? Serious question
I believe so as long as you haven’t left for 2 or more years before rejoining the company.
Doesn’t have to be consecutive. 5 years cumulative total to be eligible. I’ve asked about this specifically.
I looked up the “if you leave Nike and want to come back”’page and it doesn’t have information about this. It only takes about PTO accrual, Sabbatical, Profit Sharing Plan and Service Awards. For all of these but the Sabbatical, all eligible service with Nike counts (so the first 3 years would count). So, as far as the discount goes… maybe it’ll count?
Thank you for looking it up!
