No Facebook account interview results
Interested to know if not having a Facebook account hurts your chances? This is for backend swe. I will definitely get one if I get hired. And I have nothing against it, just had no need for it. When Facebook started I was chatting on IRC and what not, so I didn't need another online social chat. I also prefer to talk on the phone/text to family.
It can help if you have an account AND show passion about the product and have some suggestions to improve it
Leetcode. That’s all they want. Went through onsite almost got an offer. Never got asked one single question about their product. I do not have an FB account. So, Leetcode it is! Wonder why their product hasn’t changed since 2009...

Anecdotally, Twitter explicitly mentioned disliking that I wasn't an active user when I interviewed
